'WavebeatsMusic' is an online brand/label in the Production Music Industry (also known as Library Music/Stock Music/Royalty-Free Music). It provides high-quality original music to video & content creators as well as production houses around the globe. In just 4 years, 'WavebeatsMusic' has grown exponentially reaching 13,000+ music licenses sold in 162 countries, and has established a strong online presence and clientele. 
 
This project is Henrique's main line of work today.

HANDPANBLUEMOUNTAINS PROJECT

In 2020, as a way to share his love for the handpan, Henrique started yet another project called 'HandpanBlueMountains' where he provides live handpan music to venues and events across Australia's Blue Mountains region. This project is quite personal to him as he finds the handpan a unique instrument capable of helping him in his own journey towards spiritual growth with a deeper connection with nature & animals, sustainability, minimalism and transcendental meditation.

 

I first heard and saw a handpan in 2015 and I was immediately drawn to this incredible instrument. The 'UFO-shape' look, the sonic possibilities, the wide range of playing techniques and the beautiful art behind making such a unique instrument are both fascinating and inspiring aspects to me. ​I guarantee that when you first see a handpan and hear its unique and rich sound your first word will be..."WOW"! It happens all the time!

ABOUT

Henrique Dib is an award-winner composer, musician, producer and educator based in the beautiful Blue Mountains, Australia. His passion for music, composition and improvisation goes beyond explanation. 
 
He graduated in 2009 from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with an Honours First-Class Degree in composition and the University of Sydney Medal. During his studies, Henrique received an unprecedented number of composition scholarships, 14 in total, including USYD's International Merit Scholarship for 5 consecutive years. He was also included in the Dean's list of excellence in academic performance and received an invitation to join the Golden Key International Honours Society. 
 
As a composer, Henrique writes music for all forms of screen media and concert music including electroacoustic experimental music.  His music has been performed in several countries including Australia, Sweden, Germany, Italy, China, France, Finland and Brazil. As a musician, Henrique is a trained classical/jazz pianist & keyboard player however he also plays the piano-accordion, the Handpan and a few other instruments. He performs regularly as a freelancer Jazz and Latin musician in several bands as well as a solo artist both in Australia and overseas. As an educator, Henrique has over 20 years of experience in teaching jazz piano, composition, music production and improvisation. He teaches both online and at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music (USYD).

In 2017, in search of new challenges, Henrique made the decision to become an online media composer and to step into the world of Production Music (also known as Library Music/Stock Music/Royalty-Free Music). So he started a new project called "WavebeatsMusic",  an online brand/label dedicated to provide high-quality original music to video & content creators as well as production houses around the globe. In just 5 years, this project has grown exponentially reaching 15,000+ music licenses sold in 162 countries, has established a strong online presence and clientele, and has become Henrique's main line of work today.
